IT Solution Architect

My name is Johan Mosén, and I am heading Billing, Charging and Policy domain within Telia IT. We are a wonderful team of highly professional experts, responsible for IT Development, Operations & Maintenance in the BCP (Billing, Charging, Policy) domain. We are responsible for the Common Target assets in this domain. We are already running production in one of our countries, soon there will be launch in more countries as well. We are now looking for a Solution Architect to join our team.

This role includes, but is not limited to:

• Finding the best possible Billing, Charging and Policy solutions to business problems including observing business activities technically and discussing expectations and solutions at the Release Train/team level. 
• Functionality and risk assessment of existing systems and solutions.
• Documenting, visualizing and updating the architecture of solutions. 
• Coordinating the development of larger solutions and directing integrations.
• Initiating and driving continuous improvements and optimization activities in the billing, charging, policy domain and related tools.
• Supporting development and colleagues with best practices.
• Implementing automation code & scripting to increase product quality, decrease manual repetitive work and streamline product operations. 
• Always thinking out of the box and looking for improvements related to tools and eco-system regarding continuous development, continuous testing, and continuous deployment frameworks.

When bigger releases happen, there might be possibility to be a part of a 24x7 “on-call” and making sure our platform and services are constantly running for the benefit of our business and customers.

You are proactive and self-driven person with high delivery capability and hands-on and can-do attitude in architectural design on various levels. You will be working closely with the business, IT architects and technology team to secure different deliverables and production quality. You can easily navigate over both complex processes and systems and offer the best possible solution to your stakeholders in different levels. We also believe that you can thrive in an ever-changing environment where you are always trying to do better and make a difference.

Your expected experience:

• Experience and knowledge of Billing and Charging solutions or Policy solutions.
• Several years of work experience as a Senior Developer, Architect, or equivalent position preferable within Oracle BRM suite.
• Experience with requirements gathering, understanding business needs and system design
• Visualize ideas, designs, problems, and present those to the technical teams.
• Experience with software development, programming, preferably hands-on.
• Experience with trouble shooting and solving issues in production, preferable hands-on.
• You have good knowledge and practical experience from mobile networks, HA/DR architecture and different diameter interfaces etc.

Beneficial experience:

• Automation, Orchestration, Cloud Native, DevSecOps and Agile delivery models.
• Dimensioning and performance turning from infra to application level.
• Experience with the telecommunications sector.

For Lithuanian applicants only: the salary range for this position is from 4085 EUR (gross) to 6128 EUR (gross) depending on your experience.
